Inscribed a UNESCO World Heritage Center, the Dja Faunal Reserve is amongst the most biological diverse protected Rainforests in Africa. It is home to over 1200 plant species, 107 mammal species and over 400 different bird species. There is also a very significant presence of Western lowland gorillas, chimpanzees and different primates.
